Welcome Falcon Ridge Families!

 

My name is Johna Anderson.  I am excited to begin my sixteenth year teaching as an interventionist at Falcon Ridge.  Prior to teaching here in New Prague, I taught first grade and third grade at Prior Lake-Savage Schools for ten years.  I earned my Bachelor's of Science and Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.  In addition, I received a K-12 Reading Licensure from Hamline University.

 

I live in Savage with my husband Greg and our Morkie, Stella (sadly we said good-bye to her brother Stuart this past summer).  When I'm away from school I enjoy reading, gardening, kayaking, spending time with friends & family and cheering on the Gophers and the Vikings! 

Helping students become stronger readers and writers is a passion of mine.  If I am fortunate enough to work with your child, I welcome communication and forming a partnership.  It truly does take a village to prepare our young learners for the world that awaits them.   I am honored to be apart of their team!
