Welcome! My name is Mrs. Sweere, and I am the music teacher at Falcon Ridge. I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned a Bachelor's of Music Education. This will be my third year teaching, and I am excited to be returning to the New Prague Area Schools! I previously worked at the middle school where I taught 6th grade choir and directed the middle school musical. Most recently, I taught elementary general music at Jefferson Elementary in Faribault. My primary instruments are piano and voice, but I played the trumpet from 5th grade through 12th grade.
When I'm not teaching, I like to read books, play video games, and spend time with my family and friends. My husband and I enjoy going to see musicals and plays. We just got married this summer in June!
