Music at Falcon Ridge

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Sweere, and I am the music teacher at Falcon Ridge. I attended the University of Northern Iowa where I earned a Bachelor's of Music Education. I started the graduate program at the University of St. Thomas this summer to work toward my Masters in Music Education!

 

This will be my fourth year teaching and my second year at Falcon Ridge! I previously worked at the middle school where I taught 6th grade choir and directed the middle school musical. My primary instruments are piano and voice, but I played the trumpet from 5th grade through 12th grade.

 

When I'm not teaching, I like to read books, do puzzles, play video games, and spend time with my family and friends. My husband and I got a puppy this summer, and his name is Pibs!
