Meet Mrs. Laine 

Hello and welcome to the fourth grade school year. My name is Amy Laine and I am excited and honored to be a part of your child's education. I have been teaching for over twenty years and all but one of those have been in the New Prague School District. I was born and raised in Ely, MN and have been living in New Prague with my family for the past 18 years.  I received my master's degree from St. Mary's University and my bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University.  I am proud to be a part of the New Prague School District and absolutely love teaching fourth grade at Falcon Ridge.  A little background information... My husband (Jeremy) and I have three amazing kids.  The twins (Nolan and Brielle) are in 12th grade this year and the youngest (Jillian) is in 10th grade. They keep us very busy with their sports and activities and we love it!  We also have a mini-goldendoodle named Jasper who undoubtedly fits the term, "fur baby."  In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, going to concerts, reading, and spending as much time as I can with family and friends.
